Controls, Inc. (SCI) offers the following courses of training based
upon the depth and detail you require. SCI prefers to supply on-site
training, which allows unlimited personnel to attend and observe the
equipment in actual operation. Training at our factory in Columbus,
Ohio or other locations can be arranged upon request.
Please note: Hands-on training at the Columbus facility
would be limited to and based on the availability of similar equipment.
COURSES AVAILABLE
- Operational--Requires one (1) day on-site to demonstrate
the start-up and shut-down procedure for our products(s).
Also included will be hands-on trouble shooting techniques and
maintenance requirements.
- General Overview--Includes the theory of operation,
printed circuit board alignments, general troubleshooting and
repair techniques. This course requires two (2) days classroom
time. One technical manual plus a set of blue prints with parts
lists for each system being discussed is required per student.
- In Depth--Requires three (3) days of classroom time
(with a maximum of ten students please). It covers the general
overview course. One additional day is required for advanced detailed
circuit board descriptions and troubleshooting. This course is
customized to the client's requirements. One technical manual
plus a set of blueprints with parts lists for each system being
discussed is required per student.
Also to be included in these training sessions: course objectives,
course test (if required by the client), course evaluations completed
by each student and course Certificate of Attendance or Certificate
of Completion (to be mailed after course is completed). Hands-on
training is included when equipment is available.
Our instructors come highly qualified to discuss in depth any
theory of operation or maintenance question your personnel may present.
They will provide an informative and insightful class on the equipment,
its operation as well as its mis-operation. They will discuss,
per your request and requirement, the battery system and its care,
preventive maintenance, and practical testing, that may be performed
to check alarm functions.
